The final BCCF film evening of 2019 adopts the seasonal theme of trees. We will be showing two classic animated films: Dr Seuss’s The Lorax from 1972 and The Man Who Planted Trees from 1987. Between the films there will be a short true/false quiz about trees with questions devised by BCCF committee members. Children will be welcome at this meeting and there will be the usual opportunities to discuss the themes the films raise.

Providing carbon sequestration, vital habitats and so much more, trees are more and more in the news whether it’s tree planting promises in election manifestos, deforestation or forest fires.
As usual, find us at 7.30pm at the University of Bedfordshire Polhill campus (Room G011 in the Gateway Building – ground floor). We’ll have vegan food & drinks to share. Please do bring something if you feel like it. Everyone welcome and this event is child friendly.
