SURVIVING PROGRESS film screening, this Wednesday evening, Bedford

Surviving Progress pic

To begin the year Bedfordshire Climate Change Forum invite you to a free screening of ‘Surviving Progress’ in which Stephen Hawking, Jane Goodall, Margaret Atwood and others share their thoughts on whether the pitfalls of progress could actually destroy civilization instead of help it.

Loosely based on the 2004 book/lecture series of the same name, it raises important questions about over-consumption and exploitation, and how we see the future.
There will be time to chat and share ideas after the film.
Everyone welcome. As usual entry is free but donations are welcome.
Find us in room G011 (ground floor) of the Gateway Building of Polhill Avenue. We’ll start at 7.30 prompt.
Hope to see you there!
